Seeing clients virtually and in Pardes Hanna

About Me
I believe in a holistic and person-centered model, tailoring my therapy practice to meet my clients’ needs (from the practical to the existential). I’m known for my personal warmth and empathy, with a gentle, trauma-informed approach to psychotherapy.

I’m a member of the Israeli Multidisciplinary Association for Psychotherapy, with an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, and over 16 years postgraduate experience as a couples counselor and clinical therapist.

I am trained in EMDR, and draw on relational, mindfulness-based and somatically-oriented approaches to psychotherapy.

My work with individuals includes effective support for trauma, stress and anger management, anxiety issues, low self-esteem, depression, substance use and addictions.

My work with couples is focused on fostering a safe and supportive space in counseling to address the deeper needs and feelings underlying your concerns, to help you heal and move forward.

I offer therapeutic support for relationship issues, including marriage and couples counselling, parent coaching and support for clients coping with life transitions, as well as grief and loss.

My Story
Twenty-five years ago, I travelled in India and Nepal, and wound up staying at a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Kathmandu Valley. The experience was life-changing for me, and inspired me to study at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. While in Boulder, I reconnected with my Jewish roots, met my wife Rachelli and gradually became more observant.

I returned to Vancouver, Canada (where I'm from) and worked as a therapist until 2014, when I made aliyah with my family to Pardes Hanna. I look forward to getting to know you and continuing the conversation :)
